I have been stopped by our local Troopers :job: 3 times this summer and the question I have is where do my fellow BDM owners keep their Registeration and other needed papers when they ride? I was keeping the Reg. in a pocket, then after the sissy bar was installed and I added the T-Bag, the side pocket of that has been used. Under the seat was a thought, but that could be a hassle.

Still, there must be better places to keep these important items.
Your thoughts?

Well, wouldn't be a worry if you would keep it under a 100 miles and hour!!!

Mine is in my wallet but I know a few of you use the bottom of the seat.

Later,
Ray

There is that...

These are WILD Dogs and thus, must run

But, if I look at the speedo, the fog inside looks back.
So I normally do not look at it.

Got dual stash bags, so plenty of room in there along with my plate with the state inspection sticker. Before that kept them in a ziplok bag tapped to the bottom of the seat. Been stopped twice and they only asked for a driver's licsense...(warning ticks both times)

Yep, I probably got the only BDM "Bagger" made after 2000!

ID plate from frame is in a heavy plastic zip lock along with some paper and a pencil and a $20 under the battery strap.
Owners card is in my wallet.

Zip lock bag in the leather roll under the headlight - the one time I was stopped (74 in a 55), the young trouper just asked for my license (in my wallet), and just stood there asking questions about the bike.

Thats because you look so respectable. Every time I get yanked I get the ticket. I keep all the stuff in my wallet.

We need to ride more buddy! I try to be nice (having been a cop) and it keeps them from finding the Glock 26 in the stash bag :D

Next time you're at a show, pick up one of those free wallets that they always hand out. Fold up your docs, put them inside and keep it in your pocket.....that's how I roll....:2thumbs:

I use the stash tube that came with the bike. I also have a small magnetic tank bag, that I normally carry cell phone, garage opener, and extra lenses for glasses, which also can be used.

Under my seat
Might have to move it when on long trips due to hard to get to when bag is on seat

In my wallet's always worked for me. I shrink my registration down to the size of the insurance card and seal it in plastic. They gotta squint real hard but it's legal.

Taped in plastic baggie under the seat with some cash and a pencil - first time I tried it with an ink pen and it leaked all over the place. Hey, I have foggy speedo as well, been there since new.

i have a plactic zipper bag taped to the side of the battery with ins. paper, reg. papers, and pen and paper, along with emerg phone numbers. since i don't carry a wallet, just a money clip, (wallets seems to fall out of my back pocket when riding). i never worry about leaving home without those papers/ i've only had to dig them out one time, and that wasn't really a problem.
