Hang in there JR, Sue also needed to go through speech therapy due to having the breathing tube also compounded by side effects from the Propofol. Took her the better part of a year to regain regular speech, but you heard how well she was jammering on last year at Carribean Jacks.. Keep on the good path and everything will return to normal. Really looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks, Sue always has a big hug ready for ya.. Chin up and stay strong, we are thinking of you.So I found out why I still have no voice. Evidently I developed a Granuloma Ulcer on my vocal chords after having the Ventilator in. So now I have to see a Speech Therapist so I can learn how to vocalize differently with hopes that the Ulcer will heal on it's own. The meds are kicking my ass but I am still trying to stay positive.
