Just ordered an 09 Mastiff today.
Man, I don't think I have ever labored over a purchase more in my life. Despite the economy, my union is in contract negotiations, two kids in school, and a host of other nagging things, I pulled the trigger. I have been looking at the mastiff for almost a year and realized that would be my next bike. Anyway, I feel good about the price and what I have ordered.
My bike.... Candy Apple Red with "real and reverse flames", Diamond cut, cylinders, full Chrome package, and carborated. The dealer had this exact bike minus the Chrome package so I feel good about the paint and I know the Chrome will make everything really pop.
I joined this forum about two months ago and have received excellent advise as well as a wealth of info. I feel I was able to make a sound decision based on what I learned here.. Thanks for everyone who answered my post about a month ago and to all that contribute info here.
They say it will take 60 days for delivery??? If I can, I will try to visit the BD factory at a time I might see my bike being built??? Should be interesting getting used to a 300 tire opposed to the 130 on my fatboy.
I will post a pic when she comes in...
