At least give John Sachs a call. John bored out my G-Carb. He also put in a Thunderjet which I removed on Saturday. I was too worried about the float bowl rubber hose failing and pouring gas all over the place. But the G-Carb jetted properly runs fantastic. MPG not so great but I ride very hard. 31/78 jets with a 600 cam. I also have the 30% bigger S&S air filter that fits under the stock cover with 1" standoffs.

See that’s right where my g starts to have issues, from about 2500-3500 it has a real bad flat spot then it takes right off.

I’ve heard great things about the mikunis!
This issue has been widely discussed over and over....... remove the Bowl Vent Plug and go up to .060 Air Bleed Jet. PROBLEM SOLVED!!! :old2:

I really considered getting rid of my xxx chrome e carb on the bear and going to the mikuni. But decided to stick with the super e at least for now
