I have a 2004 BD Bulldog with Open Primary . Could not install a crankcase seal that would not leak. After replacing the seal 3 times I read a HD forum telling you to Locktite the stator bolts to seal them they go into the crank case and would leak oil into your open primary. So lesson well learned when installing open primary remove stator bolts and locktite them as a precaution. I never had a seal leak the oil was coming from the stator bolts. Moral of the story this old dog learned a new trick and wanted to pass it along to the BD Forum RIDE SAFE and stop leaking oil.
