That does look good
After the air cleaner and the ehaust then the engine upgrade
the open drive to me is up on the list
I guess the seat is also important
I guess these bikes are money pits
o well they sure get alot of compliments on the road

RETIRED
I posted earlier aboutmy concerns with gravel/ rocks and starting to have second thoughts after reading some of these posts. Any suggestion for a 07 bull dog-- something with crome. Been looking at a few and pm makes some nice looking rigs. Any help for a convert. Also I live in south east virginia but we have work just south of the philadelphia area. Wouldn't mind checking out the karata shop)need address)

Jim is an active forum member and the Karata product is very popular with members on here. Can't go wrong with the Karata but if you decide Baker or BDL is the way to go for you let me know. We have access to both.

I am in the market for an open as well. The local guys here tell me that nothing beats the Baker and then they told me $3400 for the chrome unit. They went as far as telling me that they had a guy insist on the Karata and after 800 miles it shot sh*ts due to the way the clutch basket was machined. Said it didn't align good or something over my head. Im really confused on which way to go...I like the Karata outer bearing cover options.

may want to talk to some of the guys on here with Karata drives on their experience with them before ruling them out.

Sounds like maybe, just maybe, your local guys didn't align the trans to the motor.

Those that told you a Baker drive is the best are full of shit for a bunch of reasons
one is it haint built nothing like a Karata the backing plate on a baker is two pieces
the Karata is one huge piece of solid billet you also have a starter stub sticking out on a baker which on the Karata is totally hidden most importantly try gettin Burt Baker to personally talk to about his drive let alone answer the phone when you call Jim at Karata will answer hus companys phone and talk to you and totally with pataince walk you through installing the thing but there are two even more important reasons for using his stuff,Jim Longo is a member hear and if you ever seed where some guy has had a problem Jim is quick to step up to the plate be it on here or over the phone to slove your problems and the biggest and best reason as anyone you talk to that has one will tell you is the Wine that the drive makes haint no sound that comes close on a motorsicle Ive ever heard
