I got the rotor stator and vr from WSW. Got everything installed worked great!!!! Now for the problem.......... While I was at it I rewired the entire bike. It was a hack job!!! 3 very thin was great until I rewired the small ignition box there at the battery. Red went to battery....Check!!!! Large black went to starter.........check!!! Now here is where I think I messed up. There is a small green wire which I wired to large green wire to brain box. Small black wire to ground. Before I rewired it the red light came one when I started the bike. Now it doesnt. Any suggestions?????

When you say brain box do you mean ehc? Or the thunder heart ignition? Wish I could help but your question is vague. You need to specify or post some pics of how it is connected. Do you have the red wire mounted to the bolt that connects the starter to the primary? Black to the post on the starter and black jumper wire to ground on the bike?

The green wire is the starter switch wire. It goes to the lug on the starter case. Red wire to the starter lug next to it. I build lots of starters at WSW's (3 today) so if you need any help just call me or text me

That's correct but doesn't the ECH control those on a stock bike? So may be the "thin" wires he's talking about go to the ECH?

I don't know much about stock wiring but someone needs to help this member... Jokes are funny only when it's not you at the end of them...
:iagree:

As I said, electrics are definitely not my Forte.... I am going through my own ordeal right now too! :bang:

:2thumbs:

Mind you, we´ve not heard back from the OP?

It's all good. Just been busy and not been able to get back on here. I must have done every thing right cause The Mistress cranks and runs. This has been a work in progress!!!!! Now to get new tires on her and to rebuild the front forks. Also going to replace front and rear wheel bearings on her. Also while I was at it I removed the stock abs plastic pan on the bottom and fabricated a new aluminum pan. Thanks for all the responses. When I bought this bike I had never done more than replace bars and a couple tires on my Electra Glide.

That's good Bro :whoop:

BUT.... you need to specify "The Fix" to your original problem, so other members with same/similar problems can take it on board...?
