I've put about 8,000 miles on my scoot with the Karata. I commute to work daily, 5 days a week at 70 miles per trip. The longest trip I've taken so far is about 350 miles.

I've noticed that several said they have to take the rear pulley cover off to clean out clutch dust every 1000 or more miles. I took mine off last week and there was very little dust in there. Maybe they are in stop and go traffic, I don't know. I just havent had any problems with it.
