I am gonna have to agree with Cha Cha on this one...right now at this time it seems your a little over your head in whats going on,maybe need some more to time of reading and processing info on this site...take it back to dealer....
The same thing happened to me,and as eric said it was the clutch nut came loose 15 miles away from house.i limped it home riding it as though it was an automatic,by the time it was all said and done i couldnt get it into certain gears any longer and after teardown seen i had bent the shifting forks in the trans changing gears without the use of the clutch........good luck and welcome to this site.....

Have to agree with Chacha, take it back to FH and have Scott take care of it. He and most of the shop are excellent and if they didn't get something right, they will get it fixed. If it something else, they will help get you on the road.

If it wasn't such a nice day and you weren't so far away, I would say bring it out here and I would look at it for you. Now if you want to trailer it out and meet me at the house around 5 pm today, I can see what we can find.

FH mechanics BTW are normally off on Monday, just the girls working the sales and parts.

They should get you up and Scott is one of the best on BD.

Good luck and if you are willing to take trip to just below Hagerstown MD this evening, sending you my cell phone number. I live right below Hagerstown on the WV side and about 30 min north of FH.

if the clutch nut is lose.. when you adjust your clutch it will only work for a while.. it will get lose & slip agin... suggest checking the clutch nut .. then adjust the clutch, followed by adjusting the cable.... just my thoughts......
