Can anyone identify this model

A friends BF just bought it and she said she thought it was an 04 Ridgeback but that rear looks wrong for a ridgeback --- looks like a softtail (chopper) to me. Am i wrong?

Seen that paint before too, can't remember where but someone on here used to own it. It's no rigid you're right and Curtis got it covered already.. Haha

Bolt pattern on rear strut looks wrong. 04 ridge has a strait tubular design from base of tank to the center of the rear. Check the VIN.

Ok, that's what I thought it was too. The dead giveaway was the strut mount on the back.

I haven't seen it in person yet and the guy is away for a bit more for work so not sure when I'll see it.

Was mostly interested if it was 04 or 05 -- 04 still used a lot of harley sized parts I believe.

When I talk to him, I'll be letting him know he should really join the site.

Thanks all
Mike

Cannot be 100% sure but...

I believe I saw that bike in SoCal around 2008 , owned by "Chopperfool" (Dave).
I could positive ID it by; he mounted Ridgeback bars on the Chopper so he could lean back more... He did keep both sets of bars in case he would sell it... so maybe the new owner has two sets of handlebars (Chopper bars are shorter pull back; Ridgeback is slightly longer pullback). Cannot tell from the photo.

2004 chopper.
Same as mine. Have him check the clearance from tank to the grips when turned the whole way. The handle bar bushings get soft. Don't want to scrape that paint.

Keep it on smooth roads, and remember you can't eat up curves like the Suzuki did !
