that's a differnt kind of oil. I think the poster was talking about engine oil, K&N has a special cleaner and red-colored oil for "restoring" their air filters.

I use a chrome cross over tube, and a line that goes to the bottom of the bike, and every now and then, there is a small amount of residue on the bottom of the air cleaner. The bike runs strong, I don't even worry about it. My sporty did this also. It is not enough to worry about. Shit, if you over fill the oil tank after an oil change it will drip for sure! It doesn't take much over full to do it. trust me, I know.
