I have used both. I have less top end noise with the regular 20w50. But I also have TP rocker boxes.

I use AMSOIL synthetic. I think the bike runs cooler.

AMSOIL Here. Lots of guys use it in the Dogs as well as in their trucks and cars. Nice to be able to use 1 brand in everything you own and have it delivered to your door. My lawnmower, snowblower and generator get it also.:2thumbs:

well, in texas synthetic is way too thin! BELRAY 20W-50, BABY!!

Ran Lucas synth 50WT for a month (sturgis and the square states) -- ran great and came out surprisingly clean

REVTECH High Performance Primary Lube

REDLINE Heavy Shock Proof gear oil in the tranny

You prob. have TP rocker boxes like I do and syn makes them tick like crazy. I use mobile 20/50 regular seems to help. Just sayn
