For those of you using a synthetic oil, which brand are you using?

Amsoil. I get it from the sponsor on V-Twin forum. George Douglas. By the case it's pretty reasonable and he ships anywhere in the states.

Same here Mobil 1 V-Twin for me as well. I like the fact that I can go get it at my local murray's when I need it.

I am still using Rev Tech until I get 5000 miles on my bike, then I am going to switch to the Mobil 1 V-Twin 20-50 and the Redline Shock proof in the tranny....I have around 2378 miles on the bike so far and I go in for my 2500 mile service next Saturday:2thumbs:

AMSOIL works like a champ for me :2thumbs: And can 17,700 miles be wrong?

Sounds about right Dave... I switched to all synth at 4,000 miles... it just worked out that way.

Yep!! Mobil 1 in the motor. RevTech in the primary. Shockproof in the tranny.
I have the same combination as well. I would also have no reservations about using the Royal Purple either. Both are great products

I tried Royal purple anti-freeze in the sportbike years ago... worst shit I ever used in my life. Vowed never to touch anything else they make.

I use Amsoil because I get it cheap. I'm on the preferred customers list. I use it on anything that has a motor. Works great.

Honestly, I just run down to Wallmart and buy the Mobile 1 off the shelf there. It's easy to find and, it's pretty good oil. (I don't know why the only keep it in the motorcycle section with the helmets though ) I guess it's because it's the motorcycle version for a wet clutch.

Amsoil Series 2000 20w50. I don't use the v-twin oils because they are not necessary unless the engine shares the oil sump with the clutch (ours don't).

Opinions are like assholes on this subject. Not to many wrong answers. If you go by what the manufacturer recommends you can't go wrong and you won't have warranty issues.
