Where does everybody get their engine oil. I'm thinking of splitting a case with a buddy of mine (Mobil 1 syn 20 50). I was just curious if anybody has any connections or recommendations on somewhere with a good price and shipping.

I use to get my Mobil 1 at Murrays. Now that they merged with O'Rieleys I don't think they are carrying it anymore. Otherwise, Amsoil is readily available all over.

At my local Wal-Mart the M/C section is between the automotive & sporting goods and it's in the far corner behind the bicycles. A wall display and a few shelves maybe 4'X8' with a few helmets, oil, inner tubes, Slime, chain lube, maybe a oil filter or two. I don't want you to get too excited....

Hi guys, why in the manual does it say dont drain the crank case ? thats where a lot of the shit is.......Also it was too late when i saw this instruction so it was drained! Is there anywher else i have to put oil as well as the usual place ? thanx for the help.

I just get it from the local Big Dog dealer, it might be 1 or 2 bucks more than shopping around but then again its only 8 bucks more for 4qts and I like to support the local guy. It gives me an excuse to go to the local shop and look at the new bikes anyway.
