Anyone using an oil temp gauge on a 2004 Chopper RT? I have looked at several gauges, but all seem to be to short. Just wanted to keep an eye on it this summer since it gets hot out here in the desert. Thanks

Don't use one..........it'll just drive you nuts looking at it. Air-cooled V Twins have been around for a long, long time, and there's a reason why.

The short one will work,I run one on both my K-9's.2-things just add a couple more ounces of oil in the tank, also when you bring RPM up 2500-3000 oil level comes up in the tank so it will touch the stick. So when you are riding oil will touch it,then when you stop you can look at your temp. The gauge I bought fits ridgeback and pitbull. The other thing is that the 0-ring seal does not seat good on the K-9 oil tank after a wile and i had a little leak.In process of making a gasket for it.
