Oil temp gauge gripe

Wish my new BDM oil temp gauge Big Dog Motorcycles BDM OIL TEMP GAUGE (5.81" PROBE) had the same oil level markings as the original dip stick... if anyone from BDM is reading this, obvious oversight IMHO. I guess I can make a mark with a razor to match the old stick, but still...

Thats stupid. Looks like someone at the factory would have noticed. Kind of scary isn't it :down:

For my 05 Ridgeback I use a popscicle stick with a mark on it. Gotta use a flashlite to see where the level is at first .... would be nice if there was a dip stick for the Ridgeback. :loony: :argue:

if it's any consolation the 08 ridgeback has the dipstick as well I believe...
