NNC, our sponsor WBC can get it for you at a reasonable price. If not there are many dealers on here now.

How'd you loose yours?

Thanks for the response Ray. I didn't lose mine though, I just want to better monitor my oil level. Know what I mean. Can't never be too careful when it comes to my Dawg.

 What do you need a cap with a dip stick for? oil level is an inch from the top....if the bike is setting level....I have a tube crossing near the opening that appears to interfere even if I had a dip stick. A straw, screw driver, or pinky works just as well :)

1 inch from the top of what, the filler neck?

or

(my K-9 is like this)
1 inch from "the bottom" of the "filler neck", not the tank.

And I use a screw in cap because the filler neck is so long!

:D:cheers:

Coach, when you get to my age (bifocals are a necessity for close up work), a dipstick makes it a lot easier when I don't feel like draggin around a pair of glasses.

:lol: got ya....when you get to be my age....defiantly need to check the level before leaving the garage with the assistance of light, readers, knee pads, litmus paper....the works. Nothing worse than a black plastic dip stick, all it manages to do is piss me off trying to see level. good luck with the search

This is defiantly a deeper opening to the oil reservoir than my....if all I had was my pecker to use, I would come up a few inches short....then again when you're inseam is already 34" you don't have allot to spare:D

Bought mine off Ebay,

Well I found something on eBay for any other 04 Mastiff owners that are interested. When I received the package it was from Custom Chrome that replaces OEM P/N 62625-70A. Thing is the stick is a little long, so I had to wack about 2 1/2 inches off it. Fits perfectly and mission accomplished. Thanks to all the responses from the forum members though.
