YesIs the screen and spring still in place?
Good question. Maybe I should’ve waited before purchasing while getting some feedback. Oh well, live and learn. Is anyone having problems with the heat damaging the gauge?
My concern is heat coming off the metal gauge mount if it hits my thigh. May have to move it forward and swap air cleaner.Theres quite a few people running this setup. Should be fairly easy to get some feedback.
Looks good WankerWent ahead and just mounted the gauge on the oil tappet screen, it was the easiest way to go, there was no way mounting it on the rocker box would work, hit my thigh since I have 2.5" forward controls and I am only 5'-9" l am fairly well stretched out! Thank again to HA Y N for giving me the gauge!View attachment 51410 View attachment 51411 View attachment 51412

Fortunately this is a relatively inexpensive upgrade. So if the heat does get to melting or damaging the clear gauge face, it won't cost you your 1st born to replace it or relocate it.Good question. Maybe I should’ve waited before purchasing while getting some feedback. Oh well, live and learn.
How long have you had yours on the bike BWG?
For the guys that want to mount off the pressure switch area, you need these fittings with whatever gage you pick to mount it down low for this look. Use some white thread sealer on the threads.
JCF-0045 45 Street Elbow Fitting 1/8 NPT
$5.95
JCF-001 Dual Adapter Fitting
$24.95

My thoughts exactlyJust a legitimate excuse to change the intake![]()
View attachment 51476 The oil temp gauge is connected to the tappet screen, But you get all the fitting's you need in the kit from jerzee.
I was referring to the temp gauge setup, curious as to the mount area used. Thanks for the info. You got it from jersee right? use the fittings it comes with and tap into pressure switch then you won't have to bother with it when changing your oil plus the tappet plug has an o ring on it no sealer required and it looks nicer imo
Yes Jerzee. Hopefully I’ll get it done next week when I’m home. You got it from jersee right? use the fittings it comes with and tap into pressure switch then you won't have to bother with it when changing your oil plus the tappet plug has an o ring on it no sealer required and it looks nicer imo
