Got the Dog fixed today!! Thanks for everones input!! Did the tappet screen first, it was clean , then changed oil filter, then took supply side of pump off , all good! Then after bike sit parked for over a day, a clue lay on the cement bout 3" in front of tank. Oil spot bout size of a quarter. Looked under the bike and there was the prob, supply line and return rubbed together wearing though the braid and pinhole the inner, replace them and back to riding. I guess pump was sucking in air!

Great! Back up and running. those braids sure are pretty, but can be murder on the rubber inside. Same problem with my fuel tank crossover line. Glad I caught that one before it dripped on a hot motor.

Yeah, when the oil pump sucks air due to a leak or low oil level, that would do it. You still need to install a pressure gauge if you haven't yet.
