OIL LEVEL

I have a 06 K-9. I searched through the "How To" section for info on checking oil level and it was about a 50/50 split on whether to check on the kickstand or upright. Those threads were from a couple of years ago, so has it been figured out unanimously as to which way is correct. Also, some say to fill to the bottom of the filler tube, some said fill to 1 1/4" from the top of the filler tube. Hopefully you guys can set me straight. One more thing, cold or operating temp.

When I bought the K-9 it didn't have a manual so if any K-9 owners have a pdf. of the owners manual, I would appreciate it if you could email it to
