Oil Filter???????

Hey Guys,not sure this is even in the right spot but what oil filter can i use on a '07 Pitbull w/117? Just bought it last week and new to the 117. I know already to use the search which i have till i am dizzy,and still have not got it figured out.I have a K&P ordered from Maddog/Don but need a filter now to get me through till it arrives (doing a benefit ride this weekend).Evo???? Twin Cam????? Shit i don't know.Is it ok to run the Harley filter 63798-99A (twin cam,have one on the shelf) or not? It looks like a K&N filter on it now but not sure.Man i feel like a dumbass for not knowing,but after reading one of Gasman's post i am :bang::bang:.It's a lot of info to absorb and now i am completely lost on which is the one to use.Some say a Wix #51225 is ok then some one else will so to not use it,what to hell .Can some one help a guy out??? LOL. Sorry for the rant,but i still cant find a straight answer Thanks L.T.

Thanks Guys,back at it again this morning.Thanks to Gas Man for the post on the filters,lot's of good info.Evo filter it is,not sure why i just didn't ask first,but i am sure this has been beaten to death in the past by all the newbies so i did my own search.I just went on the S&S site and definately EVO filter for the v-series motor.

I know they recomend a 30 micron filter at least for the 107. Most filters from harley are 10 micron filters reguardless of what you ask for. Thats why I went to the k&p you will be happy with it.

Thanks to all,got me a K&N 170c today for a temp. fix till Don hooks me up.Motor,Tranny and Primary fluids all changed and ready for the first offical run this weekend .And Don,Thanks again :up:.
