I have a dip stick out of my Harley Softail. I was wondering if I can use it with my Big Dog? It fits in the hole fine. My concern is with the stick going into the oil tank, is there anything that get in the way? I thought of changing the oil then using this to see where 3 quarts show on the stick. Since my BD only came with a cap I thought this would be better. Just not sure if it can mess anything up in there. Thanks in advance for any and all response's.
