Oil cooler

2 years ago I bought the double oil cooler for my 08 mastiff im finally getting around to putting it on but I’ve noticed that I didn’t get the right one because when i went to attach it to my frame the cooler hits it the the set is actually for a straight bar frame and not a bent frame do they make longer clamps so it doesn’t hit

Damn. That’s a total bummer. Looked at your bike pic and can definitely see your problem. I would call Eric @ bigdogpartskingpin and ask him if there is anything available to make that work.

Damn. That’s a total bummer. Looked at your bike pic and can definitely see your problem. I would call Eric @ bigdogpartskingpin and ask him if there is anything available to make that work.

Yeah that setup is definitely for the straight tube bikes. Are the clamps the correct size for your frame and it’s just the bend in the frame that is the problem? Obviously moving them one way or the other will affect the length of the oil lines. Can’t imagine why you would need them living in Massachusetts… call Eric. You got them from HDM. If there’s a solution he would know.

easiest solution is to mount them and then have a longer line made to run between the two coolers. ) if you went outside the frame
or see if you can move them closer together inside the frame rather than directly i front of frame tubes.
