Oil Cooler

I'd be interested in that if JR isn't.
Gasket failure was random. Had ridden the bike about 3 miles, had let it warm up before hand. Stopped for gas. Started back up and left...and the leak was there. Crazy.

I have a set of used 2.5inch extended pegs and a set of NOS stock length. Both are polished aluminum. Both have the cooresponding shift linkage and no hardware. Which set are you looking for?

I put a fan on my k-9 in front of the motor down low. I use it when its hot out or in traffic in town. It works really well. Never been impressed with the oil coolers because you have to be moving for them to be effective. Just my 2 cents!

That looks awesome, almost as good as the BDM's. More oil volume and more ribs to cool it. Just cant go wrong with that.
I agree..is that price right though?

I'm a little confused seems cheap for dual coolers and it says JAG so wondering how that all works for that price.

IMG_3084.PNG 2012 I was at ROT and traffic coming up from the south into Austin was about 3 mph. Slow enough you had to hold the clutch and drag your feet. It was so hot. 20 min of this and I really figured I cooked off my motor on my HD! I had to rev my motor to 2000rpm just to make 5lb of oil pressure! My cousin had a Jagg and had no problem. I went to the Jagg vender the next day and put one on. When I got home from ROT I ordered a oil cooler & stash tube from Derrick & Donna

The oil cooler and stash is like 559 I think. I had him upgrade the stash tube to another cooler and it ran me 670 +tax with extra hose lines clamps and chrome fittings. I was going to do the same with the bdm ones but those are polished and smaller. So I went with these from a guy in Odessa Texas. The link I put up there is price for just one cooler.

I like the idea of using both as coolers. Gonna call them and check that out!

Seriously, what are you doing with the BDM cooler you pulled off?? I am just Northeast of you and I would be interested in it if it is in good condition.
I'm sorry... got side tracked. The oil cooler is sitting on my work bench right now. Not sure if I'll put it back on or get rid of it honestly. I bought the bike new with it on, so I don't know how effective it is at cooling. Never had any problems with it, was just looking for something more sleek.

He did great with mine. Sent me 5' of braided and hose extra chrome fittings so I could set it up the way I wanted. Great guy.
