does the top of the BDM oil cooler screw off as the stash tube does?
i ask this because BDM sells spikes for the oil cooler/stash tubes.
and it says it fits both of them,if mine screws off it must be jb welded on!

it sure does come off. If you can get it off put a little anti seize on the threads and it won't stick again. :2thumbs:

That was a good quesion... I just bought the maltese for the stash tube if i would have known that i would have bought two spikes for both the cooler and the stash tubes ahh well maybe later :angry:

I wrapped a piece of rubber around mine and used a adjustable vice grip. Came right off

Once you get it off make sure to put a coat of anti seize on it!
