Hey just wanted to tell any of you guys that if you have an oil cooler on your dawg you might want to check the fittings that screw into the cooler itself. I got home from a ride the other night and noticed oil on my pants, well upon further inspection my new chrome pipes now have cooked on oil residue :bang: I had the cooler put on at 2500 miles when it was in for its vet appt and now have 5k. Just trying to save you guys some of the same trouble I am having now trying to polish the shit out of my pipes.

Steel wool and oven cleaner will take the oil off. I seal my fittings with this goopy blue shit called BLOCK by a company named Hercules. The stuff works really well.

well that is what I really couldnt figure out because there was no way that the fitting could turn without the whole braided cable turning. So what i think happened is when it was installed they didnt tighten the fittings and with the extra vibration i get out of my new pipes it cause them to leak. I tightened them but didnt get to ride to see if that fixed it.

Thanks Moe Ill give that a shot because only some of it come off with never dull and wizards
