Oil coming from rubber drain hose????

What can cause oil to come from this hose? I just had my 5k done and bike has never leaked until now. I got oil all over my scoot now.

TCAL same thing happened with my 04 Chop for the FIRST time in 4 years. Was a cool day and it was after I came home from a long ride. Thought for sure that something was leaking, but like CCR just said ... it ended up being blow by.

Went out for a few hours last week after that and no leak at all.

It's the black rubber hose that hangs down a little below the frame.
It started after my 5k service. I don't have a pic yet

but where does the hose come from? it doesn't sound like a breather hose unless you have already put a new one on there and routed it away from the air cleaner backing plate - you're not talking about the carb overflow are you? you shouldn't be getting oil coming through there

SOUNDS LIKE A OVERFILL MY TRANS DONE THAT AFTER A SERVICE COVERED MY BIKE UP TOOK BACK TO THE SHOP THEY WERE LIKE IT WAS ALL RIGHT ....NOT... THEN AFTER THAT THE ENGINE WAS OVERFILL TO BLOWBY OUT THE CARB AN THE BAD THING IS I PAYED GOOD MONEY FOR THE MESS LIVE AN LEARN I GUESS

Gotta be the overflow, mine did the same. Dog marked his spot on Bigdogbros driveway.

Suck some out or drain it a little. I've learned that these things don't like to be filled up. I finally solved my blow-by problem after 1 1/2 of oil all over the place.

Thanks I'll try it tonight. My k9 had never leaked a drop and then I had the 5k
service done the day before I left for Laughlin. Scoot sprayed oil all the way there and some of the way back.
I had teh primary looked at while I was in Laughlin and I know it's not leaking or any of the other plugs
