You guy's are killing me with all the pictures of your kick ass bikes.
All I'm doing is spending money and drooling waiting for mine to come
in.

The truck is supposed to leave tomarrow with mine on it, and depending
on if it goes to the west or east is when mine will get here. So I have a quick question for anyone with some info..

I have an enclosed 12ft trailer that I need to go pick mine up in..I bought
the front tire chuck (removable) and the cool BD straps etc.. So my question
is how to set up the d-rings in the floor without actually having the bike..I figure on centering the chuck, but not too sure where to put the d-rings in the floor..How far forward or back etc...Any pic's or info would help thanks guy's....

Congrats on the new bike Topshelf,

I would recommend purchasing the sheepskin strap covers for the two in front and a long one 12"+ for the rear tire. I have seen nylon strap abrasion on the billet before without anything (microfiber towels are okay). Use the wheelbase info and place the rear about 24" to 30" behind the rear axle (room for tiedown ratchet). The fronts should be forward 24" from the lower tripletree or about even with the rear of the front tire on a Bulldog. All should be 24" outward from the center of frame. Keep the bike in neutral so tranny doesn't backrack the gears when hauling. You could also tie the front wheel to the tire rack (1 extra cover). Too nervous to ride it home on the E-way first time - me too - get use to the bike first!

The most important d rings are the front. Put them inline with the front of the wheel chaulk.. and about 12"-18" on each side.

Hey Guys,

Did you use the big d ring with the 2 bolt holes on the hold down or
the square one with 4 bolt holes on hold down?

BD truck did not go out today, it leaves tomarrow with my pup on it...:whoop:
