after searching the web looks like theses batteries are a good choice, but the one ? i have is how do you mount the wires to the terminals ,mine mount on the side of the terminals with spacers but looking at the odyssey battery has nothing but screw holes in the top of the battery, does it come with screws or do i pick some up and mount directly to them

I have the same battery in my IronHorse they come with screws.
Much better battery than the stock one that came with the bike.

psssst............go to the intro section and introduce yourself...tell us a little about yourself and what you ride......that would be the right way to do it...instead of your first post being a question about something.......you will get more response....

My buddy installed one and just took a set of vise grips and flattened his terminals out so that they screwed on to the top of the battery.

All the stock batteries are top terminals anyway, it is just that the angled terminals that come up from the bottom do not work. The Odessy batteries are alot shorter in height too.

There is a long thread on this on Clubchopper and the solution for a lot of people is to go to a pro stereo installation and have one made with what gauge you want.
Here is another inexpensive option: Cold Riders Yooper Page.
Haven't done it myself though.

Oh, I doubt you can find anything like the OEM so I woud get some thick rubber or similar and roll up up and use it as a cushion between the strap and battery.
