o4 chopper ehc

I have a 04 bigdog chopper and i fried the ehc. They want alot for a new one. Was wondering if anybody had a used one they wanted to sell

How long have you had it? Ever have any problems with it dying goin about 30-50??

You can't jump start a motorcycle battery with car/truck running.

if you jump your bke with a runnin car you might end up like 04bigdog!04 dump the ehc and go wire plus!

:bang:the ehc is the brain,all your electrical is controled by the ehc,no ehc no run,no lights,nothing!if your ehc goes out by the wire plus kit

What do you all know about the the Run/Stop button?? I replaced my battery and now my Switch is screwed??? Good battery but I have to keep hitting my switch to get it to fire???

just replaced my pc board,$59.00.hit run then start.:lol:what kind of battery and did you charge it before installing it?

Pc/ Board?? I put a battery that my buddy had in his . A CCA of 325.. Cranks great.. But I found that something is wrong with my switch. I have to bang on it sometome to get the spark./ And Sometimes it will just die goin 50!!

check for moister in the hand control or maybe the connection is coming loose

Will the break fluid come pouring out if I open where the switch is??

nope,but becarefule when opening.use the search there is a how to on this,theres a wire for your frt brake switch that you dont want to break and when putting it back together make sure the wire is out of the way from the throttle,did this problem start after the battery replacement?

The EHC sucks and you will have to wait several months to get one. According to others on here with the same problem have said that BDM inventory on EHC's is none available and on back order.

If you want to ride , your best bet is to go here

Ask Jake to fix you up with the Wire Plus, then if you want to jump your bike you can have at it all you want without the fear of you fried your EHC

That was the best thing I ever did and I am not ashamed to say fucked up the install of my Wire Plus, I had a wire or two crossed :bang:. I could start the bike but had no turn signals or brake lights :bang:. I took the harness off and sent it to Jake he went over it and fixed it. I have not had one Electrical Problem in the past two years :2thumbs:

Negative. The bike was running great!! Then it cut off a few times going like 30-50mph. Like I hit the kill switch, Then I was a a stop and the bik woul dnot fire. I kept hitting the switch and then it fired,.] Has to be the Run/ Stop switch..
