Not sure if my low fuel light works

I have never ran my Wolf low enough to see if the low fuel light works, so I decided to try today. At 150 miles I couldn't take it anymore, and I stopped for gas. 4.68 gallons, and the light never came on. Anybody with EFI feel free to chime in on when/if their fuel light comes on.

On a efi k-9 it comes on when you have 18 miles left in the tank. How big is your tank? I don't pay any attention to my low fuel light. I set the trip odometer and when i get close to what i know is enough mileage i fill up. I only have a 3.4 gallon tank!

When I had the EFI on my 2008 Mastiff the light would come on at about 240-260 kms
riding on a highway if I remember correctly.

I have always just used the odometer to decide when to refill, but I was curious about the light. I previously thought my tank was 4.5 gallons, but further research indicates that it is 4.49 gallons plus .7 gallons reserve. That seems believable since I put 4.68 in at the last fillup.

The k9 standard came with a 4.4 gallon tank and the chopper came with a 3.4 gallon tank if I'm correct.. one of the big reasons I chose the k9 over the chopper was for that extra 40 miles.. lol.. I mean correct me if there was a certain year they made em with a smaller tank
