Not getting Fuel?EFI?

Ok Grurus...I have a 08 K9 EFI and the Fuel injection seems to not prime the bike...Instead of hearing a nice crisp sound of injectors, it sounds like it's struggling to pump fuel to the motor...sounds like a "Sucking" sound...It just happened all of a sudden and now the bike wont start...Is it's something simple?:(

U sure the battery is up to snuff? Strong battery is important. I have a fuel pump if you need one but I haven't had a fuel pump go bad yet. Have you run the bike out of gas lately?

I have a new Battery...Yes, I ran low on fuel a ride before the problems...I filled her up once the light came on...Could there be a Bubble or something in the line?

If you didn't ride too long with the light on..... then you shouldn't have burned up the pump.
Try disconnecting the negative side of the batt, then reconnect. turn the key on for 20 seconds then back off for a few seconds. then try and start it. The stepper motor will reset in the throttlebody.

Your fuel pump has a 25 amp fuse that feeds a relay that feeds the fuel pump. Should be under the side cover on the shifter side.

My 07 EFI runs the pump when I press the RUN button and once the fuel pump comes up to line pressure it stops.

Do you have enough fuel in the tank?

Is this when you hear a continuous sucking sound and the pump stays running?

You may have to pull the tank and remove the pump for inspection/testing.

Awe! I give up! I replaced the Fuses and I have a fully charged battery...IT sounds as if its sucking air instead of fuel into the motor...I wonder if there's any "Junk" blocking the line...Anyway, Ima take her into the shop...The only problem is Las Cruces, NM BigDog will expierment and take their time...Damn...

Tank liners are know for releasing from the inside and clogging the sock pick up in the tank. I know BDM was moving away from the the green tank liners going to another process but your may have the liner. If you pull the tank there is 4 or 6 bolts holding the fuel pump door access panel on under your tank on one of the sides. Mine liner did collapse causing issues as you describe.
Here is my thread that covered my issue...with pics
