I didn't see a born on date on the ebay tires. It wouldn't hurt to know how long they have sat around in new condition.

Every time I've tried to buy tires on evilbay I can't get the mfg date but I get a lot of excuses.

if they won't answer your questions, leave a bad report. That should change there disposition.

The answers I get are "we ship from several locations so we have no idea and no way to check" "we ship so many" etc etc etc makes it hard to trust.
So I have never bought any tires on evilbay

Eh..I've never seen any better deals on eBay than what you can find online
Dennis Kirk has the 300 for $197 and the 90/90 for $68. Shipping is usually free but tires are $5 a piece. So out the door for under $280 for the pair. A cnote cheaper than the eBay offer.
These guys move tires - I've never gotten a tire with older than 3-4 month manufacturing date. Most likely newer than you'll find at any brick and mortar store.

Good to know, I'll check Kirk next time I need tires.
I'm also thinking that if you buy in late summer/early fall you might get fresher tires.
Just a guess.
