Just what I've seen on the News all day.

What I've heard so far is 12 houses burned to the ground, up to 2500 evacuated and it's in the Barefoot Landing area.

My in laws will be there tomorrow and I will let you know what they report. Their house is in North myrtle however not in the Danger zone. I will keep you all posted as soon as I hear anything

As of now 40 houses destroyed and 100+ damaged but thank God no deaths!!

About 15000 ac., 60 houses, 150 damaged. The side of my buddy's house was burnt,not to bad, just some siding,but the neighbors house was lost. It's unbelievable.The guy that started it was fined 728.00 for burning, and his own house burned down.Justice?

My comment was inappropriate and only meant to harass the city that is closing it's doors to bikers.
But this fire is in North Myrtle that is welcoming all bikers so just want to apologize to all that found my comment inappropriate.

My sympathy goes to those affected by the fires in Myrtle Beach.....on the other hand......I know when I'm not welcome. I would much rather visit locations, patronize places that appreciate my business. I'm not big on bike rallies, but towns that go out of their way to slam the doors probably don't like a few bikes any better than a bunch.
