Went to go visit the in-laws in Waynesville,N.C. for spring break. When I saw the weather for this week, I packed the bike up in the trailer and got the hell out of gloomy Ohio. This is the first chance to test out all the modification my cousin and I did this winter. We first put on a Karata 4in. belt drive, thanks to Jim everything went smooth.Second, was Triple XXX duel Thunder Jet carb and Bob nailed the jetting perfectly for my bike. We top it off with a duel spike runner from Whimmer, and again great service from Lee and Chuck.Just as important is Scott from BadAssBikeSeat, gel insert with Ostrich leather look-a-like. Do you expect any other comment as previous threads, top self as always!!! Last,is my HID from Jake,he took the time to answer all my question and help make the right choice for my head light.700 miles later in the Smokie Mountains everything is running great, not one problem what so ever.I think thats because of the great venders who work with this site, and the people who our members.I could have not done all this with out everyone here.Thank you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:2thumbs::up::2thumbs:

Very nice bike, I personally love your state, the deer in my picture is one of your former residents.

Great looking scooter and great pictures as well. We go in the mountains up that way several times a year as we can get away. Reminds me I need to get back up there soon.

Thanks for sharing,

Yhoo ZED....5yrs ago I had a similar experience. I met a guy out of Ft Worth, TX. We rode for the better part of 2 weeks until I had to rush back to FL due to a hurricane. I fell in love with the area, & people so much we moved here.

I live 45min south of the Blue Ridge in Asheville. I would have chosen to live there, however, it has gotten pricey and it also gets very cold in the winter due to elevation.

Every chance I get....and when I don't mind putting a lid on my head...I head up there. There is a great place for motorcycle gathering near Deal's Gap, called the Iron Horse Motorcycle Lodge. Check it out
