Has not been started with this new gage.Whats normal hot, cold,syn,Dino oil,idle,cruising?

cold start dino 50 psi+ , engine hot your area dino, idle. 15 to 20psi. at 2000 rpm 35psi, [dino]
syn. 50 .cold, engine hot 15 to 18 psi, stop and go traffic, as low as 7 to 10 psi [your area, ] some were like florida as low as 3 psi,
bikes in florida need an oil cooler, summer thay should have two!!!!!!!!!

like the sender cover!

You be right!! Fl, it gets low its hot so get moving or shut it off!!! load very wise dude!!!! Florida sucks the life out of the dog!:eek:

i am looking at putting two big dog coolers up front where stash tube goes,
need to make up the hoses and a crome 45deg y conector.
in what we call winter, i could just cover one or two to keep temps up!

I respect your guys opinions about oil coolers but I've put about 60,000 miles on two different Big Dogs in Southern Kalifornia without problems and never ran a Cooler and never had a heat problem.

I've ridden 12 hours across Kalifornia into Arizona on I-10 in some of the HOTTEST (120 degree) parts of this country and never had an issue either.

Not saying it wouldn't be better! :flag:

Just my 2 cents. :D :D :D

Lovin the gauge... what brand is it? Does it have a rubber plug in it?

I am running an autometer... looks great with my black bike and it matches the speedo

You got me on what brand its is.sunset gage from jp cycle.YEA it matches everthing i own orange bike,orange 4-wheeler,orange tractor,no orange county though.rubber plug? this going to fall out?

this covers the plug if that what you mean by rubber plug! heat? going to try it out.its under a buck.
