Noise level regulations

I have, as one of only four people, imported a 05 Bulldog to Sweden, but unfortunately run in to some problem with the registration, this because of noise level regulations. Since I did´nt get the original Supertrapp exhaust along with the bike I tried to get the bike certified with another exhaust but failed.

Now I wonder if the original Supertrapp exhaust is quiet enough for Swedish standards. Does anyone know if the original Supertrapp exhaust for the 05 Bulldog has a noise output below 83 db? Is there any info to be found anywhere on this?

Can´t fit any original Harley exhaust either since they´re not built for rsd.

Appreciate any advice.

I have an 08 mutt and with the stock exhaust system it idles at 74 db. I put a set of vance and hines big radius pipes on it and now it idles at 84 db. I think the legal level in NJ is 86.4. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

a trick that I have heard is to pull one of the plug wires wire it is running. not saying this is a good idea just that people have done this to beat a noise ticket or get registered
