noise after baffle removal

So I took all of my baffles out of my exhaust. ..I have a 05 ridge back with 117cube and now ive taken baffles out it make a pinging noise under full throttle...

No noise unless its under full load..it sounds like its coming from the top of the motor..

Is it running lean?

I can't answer your question, but I have a question, how can you hear anything as loud as these bikes are without baffles??

Wouldn't you need some kind of back pressure?

I run mine sometime without baffles, If I do it for a longer period I re-adjust my carb., because without back pressure there will be some difference. are you using high octane fuel - should be around 92/93 if you are using 87 that will cause noise on hard accel.

Its not a knock it a tinny pinging sound..

Using 95 octane

Put the baffles back in and c if it goes away,u need to have some back pressure to get the most out of your motor,pulling the baffles out in most cases will make your motor backfire and run like shit,but hey that's just my 2 cents.
