My 2006 Pitbull has been one POSSESSED SATANIC bike!!!....It just turned 3 years old and it has left me stranded on the roadside going on 6 times!!!..electrical issues all the time..tach board 3 times.. ECH once.. starter twice!...not to mention I average a battery a year! ( and yea. I utilized the battery tender often! as they advised)... my latest issue.. the tach isn't working.. and the license plate isn't either... I beleive I read that both are connected on the same circuit??.....could the license plate light go out and thus shorten out the circuit killing the tach???

Got to love my local dealer.!.... they just put a new EHC in it.. I left the parking lot. no tach!... yet they insist it was working when they had it!! DUH!!!....then bless their dumb heads... they said.. TAKE IT!. RIDE IT!....we can't get to it now!!..

Any good help or advice most desired?.. LIKE how much gas to ignite to watch the piece of crap BURN TO THE GROUND!!!

Oh yea.. should I say.. after filing a BBB claim against Big Dog.. we reached an 'settlement'...BUT. that was for the previous MANY electrical issues... NOW here we go again!.. I love the damn thing for the way it looks... but performance wise.. I am to the point where I am scared to leave the driveway as I KNOW I will get stranded on the roadside AGAIN!!:loony:

The license plate isnt working? Did your BBB claim take care of the problem? Maybe buy a Suzuki...If it isn't working for you, get something else. Maybe re-negotiate your "settlement?"

I think you should just rewire it dude. Rip all that BD crap out and go with a very simple harness.

get caught in the rain = electrical problems if you haven't waterproofed the system. ie dielectric grease and shrink wrap

Check all you wires and di-electric grease all your connections. These things are wierd electrically.
