Got up this morning to ride to work, turn key on and only the turn signal indicators on speedo flashed and all my turn signals flashed like hazards on a car..... two weeks ago all was good, battery tender always hooked up and battery is not dead.
ANYBODY HAVE AN IDEA??? COMPUTER?

I've seen a couple posts on that problem. Seems like it usually comes back to the battery. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

Yep, most of the times those symptoms are due to lose contacts/wires... make sure everything is tight! Then have the battery tested.

typically the battery but make sure all your connections are good and clean along with checking the output of the charging system once you get it cranked. should be putting out in the 14-15 volt range. good luck.

Sounds like battery Dan....as others have said check connections and have battery load tested. If you still have a EHC it needs at least 12.8v to start. Anything thing less will start the flashers and mine would beep the horn once.

Turn signal flashing like hazards on a car is the signal for a low battery. You try throwing it on a tender and check the voltage when you hit run if it drops below 12.5'ish time for a new battery. Also like the guy says once you get it started verify you are getting 14-15 to make sure your charging system is working properly.

I know you just picked up the bike so without knowing how old that battery is you might just wanna pick one up and toss it in for peace of mind at this point. Need Minimium 320 CCA

Dan,
Had the same problem earlier this year did all the chasing and it was the battery but the problem was that my tender has a 7.5 A fuse that popped and there was no delivery of the trickle charge. So check to make sure the fuse is intact if you happen to have the same pigtail connector I have. Let us know how it turns out.

Same problem here, new battery worked but two days later same issue, not enough juice. Check your charging system.

I'm learning that tenders are not the insurance I anticipated. But than again I don't ride enough...As mentioned a million times these bikes eat batteries,,that's prob where the problem lies.Good luck, let us know how it goes.
