just because there is enough power to turn over the motor doesn't mean there is enough spark to crank it. definitely check the battery. and, speaking from experience, new batteries are not always worth a shit.

I just had something similar happen a week ago. Some how I got some water in the starter and the bearing rusted and froze up. wouldnt turn the motor over and battery load tested ok. pulled starter, sent to rebuild and am up and running like new.

Do you have any fault lites on the EHC. Look for a thread from Nighttrain on symptoms. He has some good suggestions to check when it quits on you. When it dies is it electrical or does it sound like it's running out of gas? Have you checked the gas cap vent?

if the light was not coming on on your ignition (your first post) then it sounds like you have a problem with the module. Could just be a loose connection as the problem is intermittent.
