No spark

I did try the search but I'm limited to my phone right now and couldn't get it to work. So I apologize in advance. I did read the no spark sticky.

Preliminary stuff, I was pulling the bike, 2000 BD Husky, back into the garage. As I let the clutch out it tried to bog down like I forgot to downshift. So I grabbed the clutch but it still shutdown and would not restart. So I parked it for a couple days. When I tried to fire it up no spark. I have power to the coil but no spark. So coil was replaced but no dice. It still will not fire up. I've looked the bike over multiple times for a bad ground but can't find anything. Today I noticed the thunderheart ignition light comes on for a couple seconds then goes off. I've checked the ground on it and it tested good at the ground point.

I'm at a lose, time for one of y'all to ask me the obvious so I can get back on 2 wheels.

Here is how I read it:

I turn the key on, thunderbox lights up and shuts off. = Is this normal? No
I turn the key on, thunderbox light shuts off = No spark. Right?

Thunderbox is the problem if the light should stay on when it cycles thru its parameters, yes?

So does the thunderheart light stay on the whole time? Is there a way to troubleshoot it?

Could the light going off indicate a problem elsewhere resulting in the no spark and the ignition shutting off due to that other problem?

That's my guess.
1. You have power to the box.
2. The box pings parameters and say the light stays on showing power to the box is one LED used?
3. The light goes out when it cycles itself.
4. Now I think, 'I'm going to pull every connector off the thunder box short of power to it.
5. I now turn the key on and the light stays on fandango.
6. One of the connectors is going to short the box you reconnect.

Make sense?

Or say, I want to pull each individual wire off (I need the wire diagram) so I do not pull off both ground and hot wires. All the rest I want off that box.

I want to see this LED remain on I now begin to reinstall the wire... Note: I want that box to cycle itself so I know this pinged the box off = I found my wire and it was to_______ Fill in the blank.

So I have to assume this thunderbox LED remains on as 'I am a working unit.' I can also look at it as, 'I cycled and now the light goes off, things are fine.'

Only your thunderbox member can go out to his/her bike, turn the key on and if the light goes out... I chased you around trying to figure out the box I do not have in front of me or out in the garage say. Stuck in a holding patter are we. Only your thunderbuddy knows for sure.

Since the LED turns on it's not broke: I'm stuck here so it's a waiting game someone takes a mirror to that area and turns the key on. I sure do not want you to pull the part off, check the wires back there if that light goes off as normal.

Here are two things that kill the spark we discuss fuel injection theory.

Crank sensor: Some models use this as the bike becomes a boat anchor this part fails.
Cam sensor: Same as saying if I use the cam sensor for a spark so the box reads the cam sensor, this too acts the boat anchor of any computer bike.

These two produce spark so that is the next connection to look for, you waiting for that LED to mimic a members or not.
