Bring It!
Hey guys. I'm getting bike ready for the key west poker run and no spark! So far I checked coils when cranking and no voltage. Pulled seat and when u turn key on and press run button ehc light lights up. I traced a wire to the box that's on top of it with the 3 lights in it and that wire has power. Is one of those lights supposed to be lit? Or just when you crank and are running. What should I check next

Well got it started. The ignition module wasn't letting power out. Took me a while to figure out my ignition system because someone put an aftermarket Crane hi-4 ignition system on it that was driven off of the cam, the only thing that the original ignition module is doing is putting 12 volts to the crane box and coils. Just to make sure I was rite I unplugged the crank sensor and turned it over and she still runs.

Same problem just started on my 05 Chopper. Stock Ignition module. But the plugs are not sparking.
Removed both plugs, grounded each separately and cranked engine over - no spark.
The bike has been running fine up to this point. Simply stopped sparking. I'm wondering if there might be a problem with the 'RUN' 'STOP' button?
Did you replace your Ignition module? If so with what/where?
Thanks

With bike key switch on when you press the run button and the red led on the ignition module will light up. With the bike running the other two leds will cycle on and off signaling power to the ignition coils. Now this is assuming you still have the BDM ehc.

I believe on an '05, if you get the red light on the ignition module after turning on the key and pressing the run button, then this red LED should blink when spinning over (not just dim but blink on and off), and the yellow and blue LED will light alternately. if all this happens then its your coil or the wires going to it.

If your red LED does not blink while trying to start, then its your crank sensor.
