Hey guys, I put brand new battery in and I don't have spark , I confirmed gas squirting out of the carb, all electrical works perfectly, blinkers headlight, ect. I hope its not this shit in the pic.
Thanks Mike
Double check your battery wires make sure you got all of them back on. From the picture it looks like you have a 04 Big Dog.
Stock EHC. When you turn on the key you should get the power on light, then when you hit the run button it should give power to your ignition. Then the start button.
Also when your motors is turning over the red light on the Thunder Heart should flash on and off. This is the gray unit above your EHC to the left. Maybe the hot or ground to it not connected to the battery?
The third fault light is the ignition. And since I do not have a light on that thunder fart ignition I'm going to have to say it's that. What else could it be since I have everything else that works
You can take the plug apart #28 and check for 12vdc on red and black.
Don't want to jump ahead to fast. But if the Module is bad you can buy after market nose cone ignition module. that is what I did with mine.
More than likely it is the cam sensor. Those ignition modules are pretty tough. Check voltage in and out of the module. You may have a broke wire at one of the plugs. That is common.

Hi Mike,
If your bike was running before you replaced the battery it is of course likely you caused the problem. The 12.8 VDC would indicate the battery is good but it can't hurt to have it load tested. That being said, I would disconnect all the wires from the battery and verify they are healthy and also that you didn't leave one off by mistake and it's hiding on you. Special attention to the grounds. The fault light on your EHC would be indicating a Short, Open or Over-current.
Continue to troubleshoot with Rottweiler until you narrow it down. As you can see from the Wire Diagram he sent you there are lots of connections/components involved.
I agree with Jersey. What ever happened, you probably caused it. Missed a wire, or broke one, moving them around.
I'm assuming the bike spins over?
Call me if you can't find it.
