No Spark after dumping fuel, Non-BDM

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a little help on a Redneck Engineering. Yesterday I was doing a test run after flushing my fluids getting ready for Daytona. I was running it pretty hard and the damn fuel hose came off from the carb. I limped it to the side of the road spitting fuel everywhere. Got a ride back to get my truck and trailer it home.

The end of the fuel hose looked a little dirty. So I dropped the bowl and cleaned that and the inline fuel filter. Put everything back together. Now it won't get spark to either plug. I was running around 75 when this happened, so I figured it screwed the plugs. I exchanged both plugs and still no spark...

This bike doesn't have a brain box, not even blinkers. Just a simple headlight, few fuses, brake light, etc. They are all working normal. The battery is fully charged.

I have Moespeeds troubleshooting tree, and digging through that now. But just thought I would post up to see if this has happened to anyone else. Maybe have shortcut suggestions. I'm desperate, wanting to make Daytona.

To top that off, I picked up a screw in my rear tire on the side of the road ! lol Just my luck !

Thank you in advance !

S&S. Just a cam sensor and coil setup. Not getting 12V to the coil..

I'll keep working my way back..

I have 12V on the coil after cleaning and tightening nuts. But no lights on the ignition. Also I dont have a VOES switch like the S&S diagram says. Bikes ran fine without it up until now.

Well not 100% sure really. Pulled everything apart. Cleaned and tightened connections. Put it back together and it fired right up. Strange that the electrical, fuel hose, and tire all took a dump at once. But my luck is turning around, so I cant complain !

Okay what am i missing ?! Not to sound like a dumbass. I've never done a rear on this bike, but have on a couple sportbikes. I rebuilt the front end and did rear tires on my AIH. This bike is a pain.

I removed the locking bolt and slider on one side of the axle. The adjusting screws are out, the wheel slides front to back freely in the frame guides. The belt is off the rear pulley. The brake bracket is unbolted. I should just be able to knock the rear axle through wheel. WD40 and hammer aint cutting it. It wont budge. I dont see anything else to stop the axle from slipping through the wheel / frame...
