No power to speedo

After a little while of the speedo starting up then going blank now I have no power to the speedo at all. I tried a different speedo to see if it would act differently but still nothing. Is there a fusable link or something I can get to? This is a 2003 Mastiff all other electronics working fine.

Mine is a 02 pitbull and my connector came off under the speedo. It was lose at first and would work on and off. It sounds like you already tried connecting a different one. I don't think it would work anyways . Might be time for a Dakota Digital from one of the vendors on here

Thanx for the reply Doggin it it does not appear at this point to be a problem with the speedo, I don't seem to be getting power to the speedo. I followed the wires to the ecm. I am hopin this is not an ecm problem since everything else is working fine.

Speed sensor

Ok I have got to the point that when I plug in the speedo with the wire marked
"Speed sensor" unplugged I get power to the speedo. When I plug the speed sensor wire back in, speedo goes dark. If anyone has any suggestions I sure could use the help 2003 Mastiff. At this point I have both the stock speedometer and a Dakota

Your speed sensor is shorted out and needs to be replaced.

Thank you Kaptin. That' makes sense. Do you know what voltage should be going to the speed sensor? When I turn on the ignition and put a voltmeter to the connector coming out of the EHC I get around 0.7, is that right or should it be 12?
