no power on handlebars 04/bdm

my 04 has no power going to the controls on the handlebars. when i turn the key the speedo lights up, park lights come on etc but nothing else. No starter, horn, blinkers ect. All wires look good, fuse is good, new battery fully charged.... still no power. Anyone had this or know if there is a EHC reset option, I am in the Phillipines and need help. Thanks

check harness connectors... there are some connectiona under the tank...you may need to remove the fuel tank to access them... water proof em while your there..

Yep check under the tank. Some of the earlier models wires would rub/chaff under the tank as well. Has it been in rain or washed with water lately? If those wires / connectors look good pull the connectors off the ehc and dio grease them and reinstall.

Then prepare yourself for the WP module. Same thing just happened to my 04'. The EHC was fried!!!

thanks to all who replied...done all the above and still dead in the water here in the Phillipines...is there a second fuse i have missed besides the 30a? I have been looking at all the wires and harness for a week...going crazy here..again, many thanks\

30 amp fuse on 04?hmmine doesent have any fuses.I'm gonna make my self sound stupid but wtf here goes.My 04 has alittle siver box(relay)mounted on the back fender,it has alittle black button on it.one black wire and one red wire connected to the battery.push the rest button.since your speedo works prolly not it but what the hell.Did this all happen after replacing the battery?If so maybe missed a wire at the battery.good luck just something to look at.
