I think they are louder being I took the baffels out. I had V & H B.R. on my 03 chopper and a buddy has them on his 05 chopper. Think the Martin Bro. "M" sound better, and they don't drag the gropund. Only problem is pants legs rubbing on pipe turning colors. I hit it w/ the steel wool #0000 helps a little, but don't take it all off.
