No more forum discounts to bigdog after this email

I received this email.Due to me being nice and selling at my cost or less to you.It is not in my interest to be nice and get charged.If I need to pay to be on here then there is no need for good deals.I will sell it retail or Buy it on ebay.I do this for the forums not for me.I can sit on it or ebay it for more.Also after the s&s group buy that did not happen (I was extra nice and held my end by selling to each individual as needed)..I can see if it doesn't help out the head forum members and make them look good then they dont want here helping..Plus its alway nice to hear we'll get you some business if you can help out the forum.But its really we want to take advantage of you and get a deal on what we want.Then you need to pay to be here.
So after the s&s and the bolt list i'm done on here.(I WILL HOLD UP MY END BECAUSE THATS THE WAY I RUN MY SHOP)I can see where we are not wanted.Good luck finding other shops willing to sell as cheap or to help on material.

I don't blame the members but the way the forum went about it.If I wanted to advertise I wouldn't do it on here plus i'm not looking to.

I reserve selling rights my paying advertisers and non-business members. I saw your chrome bolt thread tonight and feel the need to contact you over this. I allowed the S&S group buy because I thought it was a one time deal.(in our interest)

If you would like to continue to sell anything on Big Dog Biker, I can provide the details of our advertising program.

I'm going to let the bolt thread stand for now, but please refrain from advertising/selling anything else unless you become an advertiser.

That's too bad. I would always be interested in saving a buck or two. The S&S deal was great and if I needed them I'd have jumped on that. I also understand Tim's position. Sites like these take money to run. That's why I'm a supporting member. Wish you guys could work something out. I'd hate to see a good vender go away mad.

Sometimes good intentions are mistaken for somebody making an easy dollar as when the IronHorse Sale took place I remember buying a whole bunch of sets for around 90 dollars a set, and if you look on Ebay there are bringing 250 all day long so even with the shafts that you really dont need cause you can reuse the shafts from the TP boxes
I dont really see us really getting any big favors on this particular deal of rocker boxes,and as quick as you are to raise hell with less than 10 posts????

Not by no means am I bashing anyone trying to sell on the board but folks have been known to come on here and because of the board and alot of our friendships take advantage of the fellow members that arent always in the know on where to find deals on parts.......
But thats just my opionion and after all it is Tim`s board

I think Rub, like me, has been fascinated, and thus consumed by another thread on this forum dealing with a television drama about a fictional motorcycle gang. The thread was started by my buddy BB Chopper and is chock full of theories about "who dun what" and "whatsgonnahappennext" along with in depth analyses of the characters, storylines, and plots. I have never watched the show, but I find that thread absolutely mesmerizing. There is a companion thread that addresses a specific event on the show that includes the equivlent to "CSI forensics" on the details of the event. Quite compelling and intellectually stimulating.
As Rub follows the equally interesting "Paul Sr./Paul Jr." douchebag championship (which, in fairness, allegedly involves "real" people), he probably finds he has limited time to make meaningful contributions to our forum.

Back in the 70's, Rub was really hung up on on who shot "JR" also.
