If I was HD I would be worried , You seem to have a track record . Try to enjoy the HD . Fix it up and it will be good.

I will hand weave parts from snot and reeds before I will sell my Big Dog. Besides it seems all I do is remove factory parts and replace them with after market items. Just because the factory is closed doesn't mean you can't keep the bikes and find parts.

Oh and welcome to the forum. Beware of the intro police.

You could just learn how to take care of your own toys.

I can't even imagine going back to H of D. "The problem with being a black sheep is that you are still a sheep"

Another round please
Had a Ironhorse, was at the dealer getting work done when the dealer got the call Ironhorse was no longer (no parts).. sold the IH and bought a Big Dog, was at the dealer getting work done when the dealer got the call no more Big Dog. Sold the BD (no parts) Bought a new HD. Both the Ironhorse and Big Dog were 2004's and great bikes, The new HD is boring and no match for these two choppers. Good luck to all you guys that don't want to ride a boring bike
BDM parts company will be up and running soon. You sold out.

Why would you do that? Sell your Big Dog because the factory closed. There are plenty of after market parts to keep these running for years. Anything that is propriatary can be changed out. My 2003 is mostly aftermarket stuff anyway.

I can't imagine the hit you took selling your bike so soon after BDM closes, that's only a couple of weeks ago.

You are more then welcome to hang out here... welcome aboard.

I have owned a lot of bikes, no Harleys, and I really have no ill feelings about them. The problem that seems to exist is the arrogant attitude of the "Harley Elite". I have been riding for 44 years on real bikes and on mini-bikes before that, and I have never owned a bike that made me feel like the two Big Dogs I have owned and I will keep the K9 until my dying day. I have been all but thrown out of the local Harley stores for asking for help with gaskets, etc. for a Big Dog. Good luck with your Harley, hopefully you can help to change the mind set of the "Elite".

Was at HD Dealer today they said they are chopping their line so far heard Crossbones, Rocker C and Tri-Glide on the chopping block.
